My School Bucks
Parents can use our online payment system, My School Bucks, to pre-pay for their child's meal account, to view their child's meal account balance, and to sign up for e-mail reminders for when their child's meal account is getting low on funds.
When using the online payment system you will need is your child's name, student ID number, and school ZIP code. If you have more than one child in the district, you can handle all online pre-payments from the same online account. In order to use the online pre-payment service, a small convenience fee for each transaction will be assessed to cover the bank fees. The convenience fee is $ 2.49 per deposit transaction. Parents placing money into multiple meal accounts will only be assessed the $1.95 fee once per deposit transaction. Parents can also make advance payments by sending cash or a check to your child's school or to the child nutrition office located at 220 West 10th Street. Please make checks payable to the Russellville School District Child Nutrition. When writing a check, please write your child's name on the memo line of the check.
The district does not provide credit for staff or students to charge for meals, a la carte, or other food and beverage items available for purchase in the school food service areas. Meals, a la carte, or other food and beverage items may be purchased by either providing payment for the items at the time of receipt or by having a prepaid account with the district that may be charged for the items. Parents or students choosing to do so may pay in advance for meals, a la carte, or other food and beverage items through any of the following methods:
- Submitting cash or check payment at School Cafeteria or Child Nutrition Office
- Depositing funds through the district’s online service
A student’s parents will be contacted by authorized district personnel regarding a student’s prepaid account balance at the following times:
- A charge notice shall be sent home once per week or email, if applicable
- A telephone contact shall be made after other options are unsuccessful
The District does provide alternative meals for students.
